Car Insurance Eagle (Car Insurance). Where is the best place to sit on an airplane if it crashes?Where is the best place to sit on an airplane if it crashes? sitting IN. as inside. Next to an emergency exit. (or at home) The tail. depends how your plane crashes near to emergency exit the best place is not to be on that flight buddy, but if you insist of getting an answer, I will suggest the last 10 rows or so ,together close to an exit, which most aircraft do have rear exits. So now is how to crash, if is a dive/mid air collision/bomb, then 0 % survival, control crash landing with a kick *** pilot, 50 % or more. but if you panic, may get a heart attack before crash, so go figure The tower on the wheels, when it gets close to the ground just jump off. Depending on the type of crash, the probable answer is it does not matter. Near an emergency exit if it is survivable, if not survivable, then near the emergency exit so that your corpse will be among the first extracted. It was proven that it doesn't matter where you sit. Only the passengers sitting close to an emergency exit had a slightly higher chance to survive but not even much because either all die or all manage to get out of the plane. I prefer sitting "IN" an airplane near an exit. Usually at the back. You shouldn't sit near the wings, because that is where the fuel is held and a fire is most likely going to break out there or near the front of the aircraft. The best place to be sitting is at the rear of the plane, near to an exit. Near to the exit so you can get off easily, and in the rear, because the tail section usually breaks away from the rest of the burning plane in a crash. So, at the back, away from the wings, and near a door is where you should sit. In the Terminal. OOps, missed my flight... Doesn't really matter that much. BUT, this brings up the question of where to sit in an airplane if it doesn't crash. If an airplane crashes, it's best to evacuate. Statistically, the safest place is the tail section, next safest is over the wings, then aft fuselage with the nose being the least safe. This reflects statistics for major crashes. For evacuation situations the closer you are to an exit the better, especially if you know how to use it. Auto parts : Pet Divider Acura 1995 . Phone Alfa Romeo 1996 . Pickle Fork Audi 1997 . Is this car worth putting money into? My boyfriend's brother gave him a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT that needs a transmission. We've gotten prices around $1200 to replace it. Other than the transmission problem, the car's good. I think that since he got the car for free, putting some money into it isn't totally unreasonable but he's getting frustrated with it since he's already spent money registering it and putting new tires on it. His brother says that if he doesn't want it, he's just going to bring it to a junkyard, which I think is ridiculous. What do you think? Eagle . How to Remove Tuner LugsTuner lugs are narrower lugnuts that are used with aftermarket wheels on automobiles. The thinner lugs allow for better clearance for a variety of aftermarket wheels. In addition to being narrower -- and often taller -- tuner lugs will require use of special 5-point removal sockets, thus making removal harder. If an owner has lost or otherwise misplaced the key to the specific tuner lugs on a car, the lugs may still be removed with some extra effort. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Comprehensive set of sockets Breaker bar Tuner lug key Tuner lug removal tool Impact gun or mallet Step by Step : 1 Slide the tuner lug key over the tuner lugnut. Tuner lug nuts sold as a set will include a key which will have a standard nut on the end, over which a socket will fit. Using an appropriate socket attached to a breaker bar, loosen the tuner lug as you would loosen the factory lugnut. If you do not have the key can try to obtain a replacement key, or attempt to physically remove the tuner lug. 2 Contact the manufacturer of the tuner lugs for a replacement key if you have misplaced the original tuner key. 3 Visit a local automotive shop that specializes in aftermarket wheels, chances are they will have an appropriate key that will fit your tuner lugs, or possess a universal lugnut removal kit. 4 Purchase a lug nut removal tool which you can use to remove the tuner lug. Removal tools may be able to grip the tuner lug. Use the removal socket with a breaker bar to remove the tuner lug. Removal tools are available in local automotive stores. 5 Forcibly remove the tuner lug by hammering a socket onto the tuner lug. If you cannot obtain a key or removal tool using the above methods, you can remove the tuner lug by force. Note this will most likely destroy the tuner lug. Take a impact socket that is close in size to the tuner lug and place it over the head. Using a impact gun, or mallet, hammer the socket onto the tuner lug. Using the breaker bar, remove the impact socket-tuner lug as one unit from the wheel. ResourcesPublic Broadcasting - Car Talk: Lugnut Removal
Eagle . A Guide to Install the 1997 Lexus Radio AntennaThe Lexus range of cars produced in 1997 had radio antennas that were retractable, only extending when the ignition was turned on and retracting when the car was off. This protected them from damage when the car was not in use. Constructed of nylon and steel, it can occasionally be required to change the antenna due to damage or just generally being worn out. It is a simple procedure to install a replacement antenna, using the mechanism to aid you. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Needle-nose pliers Step by Step : 1 Turn the ignition of the car to the "Radio On" position. The antenna of the car will fully extend. 2 Loosen and remove the nut surrounding the antenna hole with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Pull the antenna loose, bringing it out of the hole. 3 Uncoil the nylon rack of the new antenna to its full length. Extend the telescopic tubular metal section, drawing some of the rack into the tube. 4 Orient the rack teeth so that they are facing forward. Feed the rack into the antenna hole as far as it will go. This should be about 6 inches. 5 Instruct a friend to turn off the Lexus ignition. The mechanism will draw the rack into the antenna hole. Guide the metal section into the hole following the rack. The rack will pull in the telescopic section and close it. 6 Replace the nut around the edge of the antenna hole. Turn the ignition back to the "radio on" position. Let the antenna fully extend and then retract it fully by turning off the ignition. Repeat this process two or three times to ensure it is functioning correctly. *Follow directions on the filter, or turn it gently until it "seats" and then turn it another three-quarter turn. Unless the filter manufacturer specifically recommends it, or there isn't enough space to get your hand into, don't use an oil filter wrench to tighten the filter. It should fit tightly, but you don't want to crush the gasket, or the filter will leak. 10. Reach under the car again and use your dirty rag to wipe around the place where the oil drain plug goes. 11. Replace the oil drain plug and use an adjustable wrench to tighten it. If your vehicle uses an oil drain plug gasket, make sure that the old one has been removed and lay a new gasket on the pan before you replace the plug. 12. After you install the oil filter and replace the oil drain plug, use a funnel — or just good aim — to pour all but 1 quart of the fresh oil into the oil filler hole (see Figure 15-8). 758

Replace the oil filler cap and run the engine for 30 to 60 seconds while you check for leaks from the oil drain plug and around the filter. The oil pressure light on your dashboard should go out in 10 or 15 sec onds (or if your car has an oil pressure gauge, the needle should move off of "Low"). Don't rev up your engine during this period. Your oil pres sure is low to zero while the light is on, until your oil filter fills up. If the light doesn't go out, check under the car and around the engine for Eagle . Why is gas priced at 9 10ths?
I've always assumed that it was due to some weird federal tax. But the truth is, nobody knows for sure.
Theories abound, but... Nissan Frontier King Cab. * leaks. Running the engine circulates oil into the new oil filter, and because filters hold from a half to a full quart of oil, you want to be sure that your filter is full to get an accurate reading on the oil dipstick. !? A 0 Part III: Keeping Your Car in Good Condition, System by System 14. Shut off the engine and wait five to ten minutes for the oil to settle into the oil pan. Then remove the oil dipstick, wipe it with a clean, lint-free rag, and shove it back in. Pull it out again and check it. Keep adding oil a little at a time and checking the stick until you reach the "Full" line on the dipstick. (Refer to Figure 3-10 in Chapter 3 to see what an oil dipstick looks like.) 15. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle, drive around the block a couple of times, let the oil settle down again, and recheck the dipstick and the dashboard indicator. Remember, never keep running an engine or drive a vehicle that tells you its oil pressure is low. Because oil not only lubricates but also helps cool the engine, you can ruin your engine if you drive even a short distance with insufficient oil or with a defective oil pump. Use the Maintenance Record at the back of this book to record the vehicle mileage and date of the oil change. On the Specification Record at the back of this book, note the oil filter make and part number and the weight and number of quarts of oil you needed. These records not only keep track of when you need to change the oil again but also help you find the right parts quickly next time. They may even increase the price of your vehicle (if you ever decide to sell it) by giving the buyer confidence that the engine has been looked after. Although this process takes 15 steps to explain, it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to accomplish, once you buy the necessary stuff. When you see how easy changing the oil is, you'll tend to change your oil more frequently, and your car will ride better, last longer, burn less fuel, and cause less air pollution. You'll feel pretty happy with yourself, too! Eagle . What is the purolator cross reference for briggs stratton 492932s?

Recycle your old oil Never dump oil onto the ground, throw it out with your regular garbage, or flush it down a drain. It's a major toxic pollutant that needs to be treated accordingly. So what do you do with your old oil?
